In 2013, a Canterbury schoolgirl named Lizzie Stevenson initiated a project to raise funds for the Drought Tolerant Maize for Africa project (DTMA), aimed at assisting small-scale farmers in a Zimbabwean village.
Initially targeting $2000 in donations, the project has exceeded expectations, raising over $4200 thanks to the generous support of individuals and companies. An article in Straight Furrow (11 June 2013), located on page 6, highlights the project's success.
Mätt Solutions (known as FF Instrumentation in 2013) is delighted to participate in Lizzie Stevenson's project, which is undoubtedly a worthwhile cause.
